programs that go beyond hormones
to cardiovascular, metabolic, thyroid,
immune and bone health. Gyms
and strength studios are positioning
resistance training as non-negotiable
for women’s longevity, especially as
menopause accelerates muscle and
bone loss. Wellness resorts are evolving
from “pamper and pause” menopause
retreats to more structured, expert-led
programs that combine diagnostics,
movement and recovery.
A new vital sign: tracking ovarian
health across decades
A practical shift underway is the idea
that ovarian health should be tracked
earlier and for longer, not only when
someone is trying to conceive.
Anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) is
already widely used as a marker of
ovarian reserve in fertility care. The
women’s longevity lens widens its
relevance: could ovarian biomarkers,
alongside cardiometabolic and
in昀氀ammatory markers, help personalise
preventative care across a woman’s life?
This shift is also fuelling innovation in
diagnostics and femtech, including
at-home testing and new ways of
measuring biomarkers that have
historically been ignored or stigmatised.
From clinics to gyms to retreats:
the market is going women-昀椀rst
As women’s longevity becomes a
de昀椀ned category, it is showing up
everywhere.
Clinics and telehealth platforms are
building women-speci昀椀c longevity
There is a tone shift, too. Built-bywomen programs tend to place more
weight on connection, mental health
and meaning as real parts of longevity,
not 昀氀uffy extras.
What this means for everyday women
You do not need a concierge clinic to
take something useful from this trend.
The most practical takeaway is
permission to get speci昀椀c. If you
are navigating perimenopause or
menopause, it is not “just ageing” and
it is not “all in your head”. It is a wholebody transition, and you deserve care
that re昀氀ects that complexity.
The second is a mindset shift: strength,
sleep, stress regulation, and preventative
screening are not vanity projects. They
are foundations for the decades ahead.
Women are not joining the longevity
movement to compete with the
“longevity bros”. They are changing it
into something smarter, more human,
and far more relevant to how half the
world actually lives.
