World Cancer Day - Close the Care Gap
This World Cancer Day, we recognise the power of working together. We know that every
single one of us has the ability to make a di昀昀erence, large or small, and that together we can
make real progress in reducing the global impact of cancer.
Cancer con琀椀nues to be a signi昀椀cant health challenge worldwide, with no琀椀ceable regional
varia琀椀ons in prevalence and types of cancer. The data underscores the importance of
targeted preven琀椀on and treatment strategies tailored to each region's speci昀椀c cancer
pro昀椀le. World Cancer Day serves as a reminder of the global 昀椀ght against cancer and the
need for interna琀椀onal coopera琀椀on in research, preven琀椀on, and treatment strategies.
